Poole is a town of very mixed property, and that changes what a clearance actually involves. A retirement flat in Parkstone and a family house in Canford Cliffs are completely different jobs — different access, different parking, and very different contents. It matters most on the valuation side: the properties around the harbour often hold genuinely good furniture, art, silver and antiques, and those are exactly the items we identify and set against your quote rather than treating as waste.

Licence and insurance

Anyone who removes waste for payment must be registered with the Environment Agency as a waste carrier — it’s illegal to operate without it, and if an unregistered firm fly-tips your items, you can be the one fined. So before you book any clearance company in Poole (including us), ask for their waste carrier number and check it on the Environment Agency’s public register.

We carry public liability and goods-in-transit insurance, and everything we can’t donate or resell goes to licensed facilities — never a lay-by on the A350.

Selling the house after the clearance?

Most of the Poole properties we clear are heading to market or back to a landlord.
